John Earl Bult, age 75, of Custer, SD, passed away April 27, 2011 at the Veteran Administration Medical Center in Hot Springs, SD.

John was born in 1936, to Peter and Annie (Zevenbergen) Bult in Wessington Springs, SD.
He served in the United States Army from December 1954 until his honorable discharge in December 1956.
John's hobbies were fishing and gardening. He was also a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Norene Bult of Custer; sons, Darrell Bult; Earl (Ann) Bult; Robert (Linda) Bult; Rodney (Mary) Bult all of Huron, SD; daughters, Brenda (Pat) Ewalt of Sturgis, SD; Sheila (Jim) Percy of Black Hawk, SD; step-daughter, Cindy Hargan of Yale, SD; brothers, Peter (Ruth) Bult, Jr. of Wessington Springs; Raymond (Pat) Bult of Sioux Falls, SD; Donald (Janet) Bult of Jonesboro, GA; Richard (Faye) Bult of Millington, TN; Harold (Lois) Bult of Wessington Springs; sisters, Jessie Brodkorb of Platte, SD; Wilma Westerbeck of Yakima, WA; Anna Mae Pagel of Wessington Springs as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. John is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.

At John's request no services will be held.
