Mary was the daughter of Orville Badgett and Sarah Elizabeth Duerr. She married W. James Casselman April 29, 1941. She had 6 children; Barbara Ruth, Shirley Ann, Geraldine Louise, Betty Jean, Janice Marlene and James Marvin. During WWII she worked in Akron, Ohio in Goodyear Aircraft sewing parachutes. She relocated to Orlando, FL in the 1940's
