Celebration of life services for Mrs. Mamie Thomas Perrimon Shields, of Decatur GA, will be held Mon, April 11, 2011, 11 am at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, 2340 Clifton Springs Rd, Decatur with remains placed in state at 9:30 am. Rev. Jerry D. Black, pastor, Pastor Kimberly Battle, officiating. Interment Kennedy Memorial Gardens, Ellenwood. She is survived by children, Carolyn Thomas Woodie, Minister Shirley Ann Baker, Ivan Gary Perrimon, Venita Louise Hill, and Willie James Perrimon (Valarie), 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Chester Thomas and Albert thomas, two sisters, Mary Helen Thomas and Tarlene Postell, a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence at 10 am. Donald Trimble Mortuary, 1876 Second Ave.
