Clement Lanier was born Abt. 1606 in England and died Nov. 6, 1661 in East Greenwich, County Kent, England. Burial: at St. Alfege's in East Greenwich, County Kent, England, the area is now called Greenwich, greater London.

Clement Lanier, son of Nicholas "The Elder" and Lucretia "Lucreece" (Bassano) Lanier, and grandson of John and Jane (?) Lanier.

Clement Lanier, married Hannah Rebecca Collett, daughter of John and Anne (?) Collett. Anne (?) Collett later married John Carter, Apr. 17, 1628 in the parish of St. Martin Ludgate, London.
