Funeral services for Mable Duplechin LaVergne, 79, of Sulphur will be at 10:30 a.m Friday, November 19, 2004 at the Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Johnny Glenn will officiate. Burial will be in the Duplechin Family Cemetery in Ragley under the direction of Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Nov. 18 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 19, 2004 from 8 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. LaVergne passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at a Sulphur care center. Mrs. LaVergne was a native of Crowley and a former resident of Orange, Texas and a resident of Sulphur since 1971. She was a former member of the First Assembly of God Church and she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby LaVergne.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph "Dallas" LaVergne, two sons, Gerald LaVergne and his wife Jackie, Larry LaVergne and his wife Marsha, both of Sulphur; five brothers, Ray Duplechin of DeRidder, Wilson Duplechin, Wesley Duplechin, Calvin Duplechin and Roy Duplechin all of Ragley; two sisters, Ella Cole of Ragley and Ethel Broussard of Sulphur; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
