MRS. JOHN M. (N) BRANDENGURG
Mrs. John M. (N) Brandenburg, aged 74 years, died yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock of dropsy at her home, near Harmony. She is survived by eight children. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning, leaving the house at 10 o'clock. Services will be held at the Reformed church, Middletown, and interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining. Mrs. Brandenburg was born in Bennicheim (Bonnigheim), Germany, in 1830 (see Note below) and came to this country with her parents in 1842 (June 1841) and has since been a resident of Maryland.

Mrs. Mary M. Brandenburg, widow of John N. Brandenburg, died last Sunday morning at the home of her son, Mr. George W. Brandenburg near Harmony, this Valley, of heart disease and dropsy in the 75th year of her age. The deceased was a well known and respected lady. She was Miss Aultman and was born in Bennicheim Germany on Mar 21, 1830. Her parents emigrated to this country, landing in Baltimore when she was only 12 years old and settled in the upper part of the Valley. The deceased attended St. John's Lutheran Church at Church Hill where she was confirmed in 1849 and where she had lived a ernest Christian life.
