Nina Whitehill Tibbens, 89, of 11 Wilmont Avenue, Washington, died at 8:30 a.m. Friday May 31, 1985, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington.
She was born April 3, 1896, in Washington, a daughter of Millard F. and Ellen Herschler Whitehill.
She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Tibbens attended Washington schools and graduated from the Washington Female Seminary.
She was a member of the Current Events Club, Washington Hospital Auxiliary and the Daughters of the American Revolution [later proven wrong].
On October 28, 1920, in Washington, she married Dr. Clyde E. Tibbens, who died September 30, 1976.
Surviving are one son, Dr. George F. Tibbens of Washington; one daughter, Mrs. Martha Olshock of Washington, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, Leonard, Millard, and Harry Whitehill, and one sister Ellen Drury, are deceased.
