Robert William Brooks, 76, of Belleville, IL, born February 5, 1935, in St. Louis, MO, died Friday, April 8, 2011, at Rosewood Care Center, Swansea, IL.
Mr. Brooks was a compliance coordinator for the Illinois Department of Aging for 30 years. He was a member of the Route 66 Cruisers and the Sports Car Club of America. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Doris, nee Rossman, Brooks.
Surviving are his children, Ben (Julie Kazmierczak) Brooks of Fairview Heights, IL,
Bill Brooks of O'Fallon, IL,
and Mary (Matt) McGee of Jackson, MO;
and two sisters, Chris (Randy) Naes of Florissant, MO,
and Judy (Max) Cooper of Ferguson, MO.
