Mr. Borden was a native of Winn Parish. He resided in Monroe since 1951. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Claudia B. Borden of Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Lennie Self and Mrs. Opal Rhinehart, both of Pioneer; three brothers, William Borden of Wichahatchie [sic Waxahatchie], Texas, J. R. Borden of Houston, Texas and W. T. Borden of Jonesville; three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Mae Ross of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Eva Cockerham of Wichahatchie [sic Waxahatchie], Texas, and Mrs. Aurbon Moffett of Winnfield; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
