Bromley, chairman of the board of directors of the Quaker Lace Co., 4th St. and Lehigh Ave., and widely known in the textile industry, died yesterday at his home, 1021 W. Upsal St., Germantown. He was 66. A member of an old Philadelphia family, Mr. Bromley was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bromley. His father owned the lace mill, one of the largest of its kind in the East. During the First World War, Mr. Bromley served as a captain in the Artillery Corps. He also was a past commander of the Henry H. Houston, 2nd, Post of the American Legion. He was a graduate of Germantown Academy and attended the University of Pennsylvania. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Frances S. Bromley, and three daughters, Miss Emilie S. Bromley, of Germantown; Mrs. Andrew W. Porter, of Trappe, MD, and Mrs. John S. Neill of Phoenixville. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 A.M. at the Church of St. James the Less, Falls of Schuylkill. Burial will be private.
