Funeral services for Mrs. Yola Marie "Bea" Richard, 72, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas with burial in Bellevue Memorial Park.
Mrs. Richard, a resident of Opelousas, died at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 1998, in Columbia Doctors' Hospital in Opelousas.
Survivors include: five sons, Joseph Lally Stelly Jr. of Castro Valley, Calif., Floyd Paul Stelly and Gerald Mark Richard, both of Opelousas, Kenneth John Richard of Sunset and Glenn Peter Richard of Moss Point, Miss.; four daughters, Mrs. Paul E. (Dorothy "Dottie") Burleigh of Melville, Mrs. Johnny (Mary Stelly) Jarreau of Lakeland, Mrs. Donald (Geraldine Richard) Stelly of Carencro and Mrs. Randy (Vickie Lynn Richard) Thomas of Sunset; three sisters, Mrs. Ivy (Lula Mae) Babineaux of Lewisburg, Mrs. Robert (Lou Anna) Funk of New Orleans and Mrs. Alcee (Wilda) Fontenot of Carencro; 20 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Richard was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Lally Stelly Sr. and Jean Richard; and a daughter, Mrs. Johnny (Barbara Stelly) Laird.
Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas, Louisiana was in charge of arrangements.
