She talked about many subjects including food and interviewing such famous persons as Sally Rand, Eleanor Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman and others. She was also a syndicated newspaper columnist, author of travel books and a magazine writer. She wrote "How Dear To My Heart" (1950).
