Mrs. Ruth Harmon, 84, one of the earliest pioneers in Lancaster county, died at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at her home about eight miles northwest of Lincoln. She had lived there for sixty-five years.
She is survived by five children: James, Emily Jane Kreps, Frances L. Carlisle, Katie Whitt and Sarah E. Kreps, and several grandchildren. All live near Mrs. Harmon's home. The funeral will be held Friday at Henry Brown's chapel and the burial will be in Oak Valley cemetery, near Raymond. The body is being held at Henry Brown's pending further funeral arrangements.
