Born in Trenton, the Rev. Mr. Armstrong attended State Model School, General Theological Seminary of New York and Columbia University. He was ordained on December 15, 1899 and subsequently served churches in New Brunswick, Newark, Palmyra, Lambertville and Memphis, Tenn.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Grace W. Armstrong, and a daughter, Mrs. Geza DeVegh of Tinton Falls.
