Funeral Friday For Executive Of FWN Bank

Services for Herman G. Eikenberry, 54, vice president of the Fort Wayne National Bank and manager of its Monroeville branch, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Monroeville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at Marquart Funeral Home, Monroeville, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and Thursday. Preferred memorials are gifts to favorite charities.

Mr. Eikenberry died at 7 a.m. yesterday at his home after suffering a heart attack. A native of Denver, Ind., he came to Fort Wayne in 1957 as president of Citizens Trust Bank which later merged with Fort Waye National Bank. He was a member of Monroeville United Methodist Church, Monroeville Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club and Lodge 293, F & AM. He was a navy Veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Betty; a son, Michael, an assistant vice president of Fort Wayne National Bank; a sister, Mrs. Edwina Beck, Denver; and two grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Shaffer, Geane Tuttle, Robert Quance, Homer Moyer, William Sowers, Earl Wolff, Ralph Webster, Bert Marquardt, Burton Huebner and E.L. Marquart.
