Funeral services were held Saturday morning in the chapel of Gallant Funeral Home for Clara Mae Beddingfield, who died Thursday, (March 8, 1990) in Lincoln Regional Hospital. She was 74.
The Rev. Larry Gillespie officiated and burial followed in the Bee Springs Cemetery in Giles County.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Huday Wilson Beddingfield and Mamie Webb Beddingfield, was an employee of Genesco Shoe Company and a member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Lorene Lineberger of Fayetteville.
