She was born March 8, 1925, in Detroit, Michigan to Earl and Mildrid Lewis. She married William G. Colburn on July 3, 1945 in Tawas City, Michigan. Her loving husband preceded her in death on January 31, 1999.
Trixie is survived by three children, Dan (Linda) Colburn of Taveres, Florida. William (Carol) Colburn of Clearmont, Florida. and Joanne (Earl) Mills of Havana, Illinois. Trixie is survived by one sister Marge Lawson.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Mildred Lewis, Bruce Lewis, earl Lewis, and Dorthy Lewis.
Trixie's surviving grandchildren are Brad Colburn of Durham North Carolina, Chrissy (Richard) Walker of DeBary; Florida. Rocky (Erin) Darnell of Macomb, Illinois. Chris Mills of Havana, Illinois. Shane Mills of Havana, Illinois. Trixie's surviving great-grandchildren are: Andrew Walker, Travis Walker and Reese Darnell.
Trixie spent her days being a loving mother and wife. She loved to spend her spare time by playing bingo, penny poker, and spending time with her family and friends.
