Sarah T Egbert, 83, former resident of Murtaugh, died Wednesday, Jan 15, 1997 at Valley View Care Center in Boise.
She was born Feb 27, 1913, in Marion, Idaho to Owen and Sarah Alexander Tolman. On Nov 15, 1934 she was married to Parley M Egbert in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple
Mrs Egbert lived in Murtaugh for many years before moving to Naples, Fla., where she lived for several years.
She was a member of the LDS Church in Murtaugh.
Mrs Egbert was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband Parley M Egbert, who died Nov 10, 1958.
Survivors include her five children, Lamar Egbert of Naples, Fla., Ireta Hodges of Boise, Delores Bischoff of Lovell, Wyo., Janice Cathcart of Burley, and Dennis Egbert of Hardin, Mont., two sisters Winona Gee of Yerington, Nev., and Mary Popham of Salt Lake City, Utah, 26 grandchildren, and 34 great-grand-children.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan 20, 1997, at the Murtaugh LDS Chapel with Bishop Brent Stastny conducting.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls. Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at White Mortuary in Twin Falls, and from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Monday at the church.
