Residence: New Holland, Wabash County, Indiana. Enlisted as a Private on 21 July 1862 in Company A, 75th Infantry Regiment Indiana. Died Company A, 75th Infantry Regiment Indiana on 8 January 1864 at Chattanooga, Tennessee.

(No definite information for "Edward Hutzel" could be found. However, there is a "Hezekiah Hutzel" (possibly a relative) residing in the New Holland area in 1860. Hezekiah enlisted in Company A, 75th Infantry Indiana on 21 July 1862, promoted to Full Corporal, and Mustered Out on 8 June 1865 at Washington DC. Hezekiah married Nancy Tweedy on 19 Dec 1866 in Wabash County, and was residing in Kansas in 1900 and 1910.
