Mary Chisholm Becker died at home in Vista, California, on September 11, 2002, after a long period of suffering. Born in Nhill, Victoria, on October 28, 1921, daughter of Arthur Norman Hamilton and Joan Hudson Chisholm. Sister of Robert (deceased) and Murray (deceased). Loving wife of William "Bill" Sheldon Becker Jr.; beloved mother of Jennifer and Robyn; mother-in-law of Ron; grandmother to Lauren, Alexandra, James and Charles. Her ashes will be scattered in the Pacific Ocean, bridging Australia and the United States. She remained passionately Australian to the end. We will miss her.
