Mrs. Nora Carrico, Oregon City housewife and long-time resident, died Tuesday at a local hospital following a long illness. She was 82.
Mrs. Carrico, who lived at 409 High Street, was born Feb. 17, 1878 in Morning Sun, Iowa. She was a member of Oregon City Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Beradine Carrico, Oregon City; two stepsons, Earl Carrico, The Dalles; Floyd Carrico, Jerome, Idaho; two nephews and two nieces.
Private services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Hillside Chapel, with Dr. George Ashwood, Jr. officiating. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the DMSO research at University of Oregon Medical School, Portland.
