Graveside Memorial Service for Fay Adcock, 84, of Jasper, Texas was held at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper.
Fay, a native and longtime resident of Houston, moved to Jasper after she retired from Southwestern Bell in 1978. She did not stay retired for long. She settled in the Homer Community and began working for the Jasper Police Department as a dispatcher and jailer for several years before retiring again to take care of her parents. Faye was an active member in the Order of the Eastern Star.
Fay is survived by her husband of over 65 years, Luther Adcock, a son, Richard "Rusty" Adcock and wife Martha of Jasper, a brother, AJ Jones of Jasper; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
