Mr. Linderman was a native of Ada and lived in Lima most of his life. He retired in 1950 after 42 years of service.
A veteran of the Spanish-American war, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving besides his daughters, Helen, switchboard operator at St. Rita's hospital, and Mrs. Smith, are a brother, Harry, Ocala, Fla.; a stepson, Jack C. Johnston, Detroit, Mich., and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Eleanor Dillon, Miami, Fla.
The body will remain in the Siferd and Son funeral home pending completion of arrangements.
