Mrs Nettie M Earnest, 75, of Beavertown, passed away this morning at 1:35 in Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. She was hospitalized one week and death was a result of complications following a stroke.
She was married to Warren Earnest in 1913. He preceded her in death in 1957.
Mrs. Earnest, who was a housewife all her life, was born in Franklin Twp., Snyder County, July 16, 1895, the daughter of the late William and Margaret Kratzer Musser.
Surviving her are six daughters, Arietta, wife of Lester Thomas, Beavertown: Ethel, wife of Clifford Hook, Middleburg: Laura, wife of William Knepp, Sodus Point, NY: Grace, wife of William Boyer, White Springs: Anna, wife of Junior Boyer, Beavertown: and Doris, wife of David Thompson, Liverpool: two sons, Charles Earnest of Lily Pa and Russell Earnest of Richfield: 40 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and two sisters, Mrs Hattie Walter of Middleburg and Mrs Charles Wagner of Beavertown. She was preceded in death by one son in infancy.
Funeral Services will be conducted Fri at 2 pm from the Aurand Funeral Home, Beavertown, with Rev Herman Snyder, Pastor of St Paul's United Church of Christ, Beavertown, officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery , Beavertown.
Visitation will be held Thurs from 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home.
