Willows--A family service will be held for Vernice Provence, 89, of Willows. She died Sunday, Feb. 16, 1997, at Willows Convalescent Hospital.
A native of Arkansas, she was born June 10, 1907. A homemaker and florist, she lived in Elk Creek and Happy Camp as well as in Willows.
Survivors include her sons, Ray of Corning and Ernest of Honduras; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were made by F. D. Sweet and Son Mortuary.
