Catherine Luzzetta Sturgeon Ehler, 92, of Lower Paxton Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20,2011 at the Community General Campus of Pinnacle Health.
Born on November 21,1918 in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Alfretta Sturgeon of Harrisburg. She was the widow of George S. Ehler, who recently died on February 23, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas C. Elder, who died in March of 2010.
She was a homemaker and worked part time in various jobs that she enjoyed prior to retiring. She and George would have celebrated 64 years of marriage in May.
She will be greatly missed and is survived by her son, Guy Ehler and his wife Carol of Easton, PA., granddaughter, Michele Ehler-Jeszenka, her husband, Mark and greatgrandchildren Lance and Haley Jeszenka of Lower Paxton Township; grandson, Craig Ehler, his wife, Sherry and great-grandson, Owen Ehler of Hummelstown; a sister, Dolores Kelly of Apache Junction, AZ, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A viewing and service of celebration will be held Thursday March 24,2011, from 10-llam with a service beginning at 11am at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill.
