Elmo Lee Ryals, 91, of Dardanelle, Arkansas, died Friday, April 12, 1996, at the Dardanelle Hospital. Mr. Ryals, who was born August 25, 1904, to the late Jim and Eddie Lorene Rhine Ryals in Ethel, MS, was a retired farmer, a member of the Methodist Church, and was a former resident of Lambert. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nettie Viola Burns Ryals.

Funeral services were held on Monday, April 15, at the Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Dardanelle with Chris George officiating. Interment was in the Breadley Cemetery. Grandsons and great-grandsons served as pallbearers.

He is survived by two sons, Billy Ryals of Dardanelle and Michael Lee Ryals of Clarksdale; three daughters, Christine Aldy of Jonesboro, LA and Maxine King and Tommie Jean Russell, both of Dardanelle; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
