DUGGAN. Nora (Naughton) Duggan of Wethersfield, widow of Michael J. Duggan, died Monday (Nov. 11, 1996). She was born June 24, 1903 in Athlone, County Roscommon, Ireland. Mrs. Duggan immigrated to the United States in 1926 and worked as a child nurse in Fall Rivers, MA. She moved to Hartford in 1930 where she met and married Michael. They lived in Wethersfield for 43 years where they raised their family. Mrs. Duggan was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church, a member of the Women's Club, she also belonged to Our Lady of Calvary Retreat House and the Irish American Home Society. She is survived by two sons, Francis J. and William C. Duggan, both of Madison; nine grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, a brother, Matthew Naughton of Ireland; a sister, Winifred Hilliard of St. Petersburg, FL. She was predeceased by a son, Charles M. Duggan. The funeral will be Friday, 9:30 a.m., Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Hwy., Wethersfield. Burial will be in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday, 4-8 p.m.
