Richard Tregaskes, 87, of Kittanning, died at 4:55 p.m. yesterday at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. He had resided at Altmeyer's Colonial Acres Boarding Home for the Aged, Kittanning RD 1, the three months. He was a retired employee of Rochester and Pittsburgh Coal Company, having been a miner at Nu Mine. He was a member of United Mine Workers of America. Born Aug. 12, 1886, at Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of William and Mary (Jardine) Tregaskes. His first wife, Mrs. Margaret (Brandt) Tregaskes, died in 1948. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Agnes (Krizmanich) Tregaskes of Nu Mine; four sons, Russell of Kittanning, David of Ford City, and Richard and Wilbert, both of Youngstown, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Mary) Reefer of Yatesboro and Mrs. Gerald (Andrena) McIntire of Dayton; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four step sons, Thomas and James Krizmanich, both of Rural Valley, Michael Krizmanich of Syracuse, N.Y.; and John Krizmanich of Dayton, Ohio. TREGASKES - Friends of Richard Tregaskes, who died July 15. 1974, will be received at Carson Funeral Home, Rural Valley, from 7 to 9 tonight, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Service will be at the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Edward J. Thompson, supply pastor at Yatesboro United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be at Rural Valley Cemetery. Arrangements by Carson.
