Lula Margaret Nalley McCubbins, 77, of Bardstown, died Sunday, July 20, 1997, at Federal Hill Manor in Bardstown.
The Bardstown native was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and a former employee of St. Thomas School and Nazareth Motherhouse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the late George E and Ella Coyle Nalley and her husband Golden McCubbins.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Spalding of Bardstown, three sons, Joseph Randall McCubbins of Tuscon, Ariz., Billy Neal McCubbins, Round-O, S.C., and Dennis Clay McCubbins of Bardstown; two sisters, Lucille Wilson, Deer Park, Texas, and Gladys Vetter of Oregon; one brother, Joe Nalley of Bardstown; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 1997, at Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Bardstown with Dr. Walter Mantooth officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation begins after 5 p.m. today at Greenwell-Houghlin Northside Funeral Home in Bardstown and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
