Eliza C. Fligger, 93, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, in Seneca Place, Verona. She was born Dec. 5, 1913, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Frank and Eliza Altman. She was a member of Harrold Evangelical Zion Lutheran Church, Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer W. Fligger, on Jan. 21, 1986; two sisters, Mary and Verna; and a brother, Cyrus. She is survived by a son, Earl W. Fligger and his wife, Phyllis, of Greensburg; two daughters, Jane Wolff and her husband, Wayne, and Laura Miller and her husband, Leonard, all of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Mary Figlar and her husband, John, Barbara Kromka and her husband, Jesse, Earl Fligger and Michele, and Scott Miller; three great-grandchildren, Beth, Ashley and Jace; two brothers, Earl Altman and his wife, Grace, and Curtis Altman, and a sister, Laura Altman, all of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg. A private prayer service will be held with the Rev. Robert A. Free officiating. Private interment in Hill Church Cemetery, Hempfield Township.
