Levi Sheetz, a former lifelong resident of Kleinfeltersville, died Sunday at Middletown Odd Fellows Home. He was 77. A son of the late Messiah and Matilda (Hartman) Sheetz, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sally (Matthews) Sheetz, six years ago.
He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Lebanon, the Knights of Friendship, Kleinfeltersville, and the Kleinfeltersville E.U.B. Church.
Surviving are two daughters; Malinda, wife of Harry Smith, Sheridan R.D. 1, and Alice, wife of Lloyd Beamesderfer, Kleinfeltersville, and a son Messiah, Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Also surviving are two sisters: Mrs. Alice Keller, Kleinfeltersville, and Mrs. Ida Grimes, Staten Island. [Lebanon Daily News, Tuesday September 2, 1952]
