CHAZY - Orson H. Fisher, one of Chazy's old and respected citizens, passed away suddenly Thursday afternoon, June 6th, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ray Warren. Although Mr. Fisher had been in poor health for the past six months, he had made a daily call to his neighbors and the shock of his death came unexpectedly.

Mr. Fisher was born at West Chazy, April 17, 1865, the second son of Lydia Ayers and Oscar Fisher. Being left an orphan when only a child, he made his home with his aunt and uncle, the late Huldah and John Miner, Chazy.

On February 20, 1886, he married Hannah White of Chazy. To them seven children were born, all of which survive him.

Mr. Fisher made many friends in the village and for several years capably filled the position of farm foreman at the Miner Farm.

The funeral was largely attended at the Sacred Heart Church, with Rev. Father George Brisson officiating at the requiem high mass. Burial was made in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were old friends and neighbors, Nelson Wilfore, Ed Carter, Louis Dese, John Brunnell, Frank Luck and James Luck.
