She was born in 1928 in West Virginia, the daughter of the late Burr and Iva H. Cheshire. She was a homemaker.
She married Carson Ray Cave in 1968. Mr. Cave preceded her in death.
She was previously married to Kenneth Franklin Wright from 1963 to 1968.
Mrs. Cave is survived by a daughter, Sherry Wright Baker; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; a daughter-in-law, Stacey Cave, a son-in-law, Jimmy Wolford, a nephew, Ronnie Sirk, a sister, Virginia Sirk, and numerous nieces and nephews. A daughter, Nancy Davis Wolford, a son, Ray Cave, Sr., a half sister, and two half brothers preceded her in death .
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Reverend Ken Smith officiating. Interment will be in Gainesboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM.
