Mrs. Trueblood’s Funeral Monday
Mrs. Minnie P. Trueblood, 72, former Portland resident, died Friday
afternoon at the family home in Kokomo after a few days illness.
The body will be brought to the Baird Funeral Home Monday noon, and
funeral services will be held from the chapel at 2 p.m. in charge of the Rev.
Fred Morris, of Kokomo. Interment in Green Park.
Mrs. Trueblood was born near Portland Feb. 2, 1877, the daughter of Josiah
and Martha (Weaver) Renner. She was married to Parker Trueblood, who died
Oct. 16, 1942.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ivan Keith, of Kokomo; 18 grandchildren,
including Carl and Inez, who were reared in the Trueblood home. Also
surviving are two sisters: Mrs. James Trueblood, of Lehigh, Iowa, and Mrs.
John Lemackus, of St. Louis, two brothers, Al Renner of Kokomo and Jerry
Renner, of Adrian, Mich.; and two step-children, Clayton Trueblood of
Alabama and Mrs. Wm Eartley, of Florida.
