Funeral services for Wilson Babin, 88, will be at 10 a.m, Thursday from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery under direction of Hixon Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today (July 9) in the funeral home.
Mr. Babin died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday in a local hospital.
He was a native of St. Martinville and was a water well driller who worked throughout Southwest Louisiana.
Survivors include one son, Clifford Babin of Lake Charles; four daughters, Mrs. G.B. Wiggins, Mrs. Ernest Wynn and Mrs. Alvin LeBlanc, all of Lake Charles, and Mrs. Joseph Domingue of Houston, Tex.
Also, one brother, Stanley Babin of Duson, La.; four sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Durio of Breaux Bridge, and Mrs. Bill Piazzo, Mrs. Morel Melancon and Mrs. Ben Judice, all of Houston; eight grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
