Edmund P. Steffes, 71, of Milwaukee, formerly of St. Joe died Sunday at midnight from injuries received when he was hit by a car while crossing a State Street intersection in Milwaukee. He was born May 1, 1900 at St. Joe, a son of Michael and Anna Michael Steffes. He is survived by two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church, 1029 N. Ninth St., Milwaukee. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Milwaukee. Friends may call today at Mothen-Bell Funeral Home, 700 Milwaukee Ave., South Milwaukee.
