Mrs. John R. (Maxine) Whitlatch, Sr., 47, of Waco, died Tuesday at her residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Grace Baptist Church in China Spring. Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.
Mrs. Whitlatch was born Feb. 8, 1940, in Tacoma, Washington, where she attended school. She was a 1958 graduate of Stadium High School in Tacoma. She attended the University of Puget Sound.
She married to John R. Whitlatch Sr. on April 30, 1960. They moved to China Spring in 1979, where her husband entered the dairy business. She was a member and former officer in the China Spring City Club and a member of Grace Baptist Church in China Spring.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Mrs. Arthur McKinney of Tacoma, Washington; daughter, Susan Elizabeth Whitlatch of Waco; four sons, James Arthur Whitlatch of Waco; John R. Whitlatch, Jr., Robert David Whitlatch and Joel Thomas Whitlatch, all of China Spring; sister, Mrs. Geraldine Henneberg of Tuyallut, Washington.
