Commonwealth Reporter, Tues. June 22, 1937, p. 14:4. MARY MICHELS EXPIRES. Hospital Employe Dies Suddenly; Funeral Rites Planned. Miss Mary Michels, 62, died suddenly at St. Agnes hospital at 5 a.m. today. She had been employed at the hospital for the last six years and made her home there. Surviving Miss Michels leaves five sisters, Mrs. Al Tracy, State of Washington, Mrs. Elizabeth Verheyn, Idaho, Mrs. Rose Kohli, Mt. Calvary, Miss Anna Michels, Oshkosh, Mrs. Lawrence Schumacher, this city and six brothers, Frank, John, Joseph, all of Sheboygan, Nicholas, St. Peter, Louis of Mt. Calvary, and Christ of this city. The body will be removed to the Schumacher home, 5 Boyle place, Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services will be announced later.

Funeral services for Miss Mary Michels who died Tuesday morning will be conducted at 8 a.m. Friday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Lawrence Schumacher, 5 Boyle place and at 8:30 a.m. from St. Mary's church with the Very Rev. P.J. Gersbach officiating. Mass will be read at 10 a.m. at the Holy Cross church at Mt. Calvary where burial will take place.

Funeral services for Miss Mary Michels, who died in this city Tuesday, was held from the home of her sister, Mrs. Lawrence Schumacher, 5 Boyle place, at 8 a.m. today and at 8:30 from St. Mary's church with the Very Rev. P.W. Gersbach officiating. At 10 a.m. mass was read at the Holy Cross church at Mt. Calvary, Fr. Christopher, O.M. Cap., officiating. Burial was in Holy Cross cemetery. Six nephews of Miss Michels acted as pallbearers, Ambrose, Leo and Robert Michels, and Adolph, Henry and Emil Kohli. Women employes of the hospital, where Miss Michels had been employed for the last six years were present at the church.
