Deborah Lynn "Debby" Barrett, 49, of Scott City, Mo., died Monday, March 7, 2011 at her home.

She was born November 11, 1961 in Cape Girardeau to Dewey M. and Myrtle Brown Barrett.

Debby was a graduate of Shawnee High School and Southeast Missouri State University.

She was a member of LaCroix United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two aunts, Mary Bridgeman of Manito, Ill., Elsie Barrett of Jackson, Mo.; and several cousins.

She had a great love for her cat, Shamrock.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.

Visitation will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Ford & Sons Sprigg St. Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the funeral home with the Rev. Bill Joyce officiating.

Burial will follow at Lindsey Cemetery in McClure, Ill.

Memorial contributions may be given to Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
