Pneumonia caused the death of Christopher Columbus Frye yesterday morning at Ball Hospital. Mr. Frye was well-known in this city, having lived here 60 years. Since the death of his wife 14 years ago, he has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Mack McClellan, 418 West North Street. Mr. Frye was in the employ of Ball Brothers Company until his retirement in 1923. He was a member of Jackson Street Christian Church, the Red Men's Lodge, Haymakers, Pocahontas and Daughters of Liberty lodges.

Surviving are a son, G.W. Frye of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Admire of Aurora, Ohio, and Mrs. McClellan, and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Arthur W. McDavitt at 10:30 o'clock tomorrow morning at the Moffitt and Piepho funeral home, to where the body has been removed. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
