RENDON - Bobby Joe Moore, 71, who retired in 1997 as a supervisor for Martin Sprocket & Gear, died Sunday, June 30, 2002, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 4 p.m. Tuesday at Blessing Colonial Chapel, Mansfield. Burial: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Colorado City Cemetery, Colorado City, Texas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield.
Mr. Moore was born Jan. 6, 1931, in Blackwell, Texas, the son of Hatton Marshall and Edna Mae Hannah Moore and married Gloria Anita Priddy March 5, 1949, in Colorado City. He was a member of the Retta Baptist Church.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Sue Moore, in 1959 and one son, Brent Joe Moore, in 1993.
Survivors: Wife of 53 years, Gloria Moore of Rendon; daughter, Dorinda Smith and husband, Tollie of Abilene; daughter-in-law, Lisa Moore of Kennedale; grandchildren, Jarrett Smith of Creed, Colo., Channing Smith of Fort Worth and Emily Moore and Maxx Moore, both of Kennedale; brothers, H.M.
