Played Major League baseball as a shortstop for eight seasons (1890 to 1895, 1897, 1901) with the Chicago Pirates of the Players League, the Pittsburgh Pirates, the St. Louis Brown Stockings (Cardinals), Philadelphia Phillies, Louisville Colonels and the Chicago White Sox. Complied decent career numbers of 745 Games Played, 804 Hits, 483 Runs, 22 Home Runs, 384 RBIs and a career .267 Batting Average.
