Born at Attendorf, Prussia (which is now in Poland) to Christian and ______ Hoffman (Huffman) she married Dec. 24, 1854 Frederick Steinlicht, a widower with two sons. They had 11 children, some of whom died in Prussia.
She, several children and Frederick emigrated in May 1883. Frederick Steinlicht died & was buried at sea in the Atlantic on the trip over.
Oct. 1883 she married Carl David Fricke, a widowed neighbor from Prussia who had immigrated with his family in 1874.
The families were interconnected as her daughter had married his son and the oldest Fricke daughter, Augusta, was married to Frederich Hoffman, Henricke's brother.
