Services for Bonnie Shirley Tillman-Williams, age 82, of Columbia will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2002 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Ron Ostteen officiating. Interment will follow in the Restland Memorial Gardens in Pineville.

Mrs. Tillman-Williams was born in Columbia on November 9, 1920 to the union of Andrew Jackson and Tennessee Varnell Powell and died Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia after a brief illness.

She was a retired telegrapher with Missouri Pacific Railroad. She was a depot agent in several towns in Louisiana from 1942 until her retirement in 1980. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by the father of her son: Robert Tillman two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband: Charles E. Williams of Columbia son: Shawn E. Tillman of New York City, NY stepchildren: Gerald Williams of Pass Christian, MS, Ronald Williams of Lafayette and Audrea "Bonnie" Martin of Boyce her sister: Allie Powell Ostteen of Grayson and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Willie Hines, Jr., W. L. Hines, III., Lee Ostteen, Gerald Williams, Steve Williams and Donald Murrell.

Visitation will be Thursday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until time of services at Riser Funeral Home, Hwy 165, Columbia, LA.
