John Robert Atchison, died Feb 26,2011 of Cancer at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, at the age of 63. He was the loving husband to Sonda nee Smith Atchison, beloved son of Ruby and the late Wm M Atchison. Also preceeded in death by a brother.

He worked as a Graphic Artist for McDonnell Douglas for 25 years. Most recently for Parkside Meadows Retirement Home. He was a member of Harvester Christian Church. He liked gardening and was known for the beautiful wisteria growing around their deck. He loved their 4 Boston Terriers: Punkin, Tigger, Fancy & Misty. He enjoyed sculpting mermaids, and creating painted scenes, esp the large wooden santa in the yard every Christmas.
He will be also missed by numerous nieces,nephews, brother & sister-in-laws.
