Minnie is the daughter of William Meisheid and Willemina Heil. She married Frank Lamers on Aug. 10, 1920 at Roselle, IA. They were the parents of Ed Lammers of St. Louis, Mo., Raymond Lammers of Las Vegas, Nev., Robert Lammers of Burlington, Iowa, Louis Lammers of Fremont, Calif., and Arnold Lammers and Gerald Lammers both of Omaha, Neb.; five daughters, Mary Rose Hansen of Algona, Iowa, Doris Ratchford of Boone, Iowa, Rita Boyer of Omaha, Neb., Charlotte Wurzer of Carroll, and Darlene Duhon of Omaha, Neb, Paul, and Helen.

July 20, 1993 - Minnie (Mrs. Frank) Lammers, 92, of Carroll, died today, Tuesday, July 20, 1993. at Carroll Manor Nursing Home. Mass of the Christian burial for Mrs. Lammers will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 22, at Holy Spirit Church in Carroll with Father Richard Renunes as celebrant. Lectors for the Mass will be Randy Vonnahme and Dwight Whitlatch. Mass servers will be John, Mike and Joey Hansman. Gift bearers will be her granddaughters. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carroll. Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Twit Funeral Home in Carroll. A rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Wednesday by Legion of Mary and Catholic Daughters of the Americas and there will be a prayer service at 7:30 that evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lammers was born Nov. 10, 1900, at Halbur, Iowa, a daughter of William and Wilhelmina (Heil) Meisheid. In 1903 the family moved to Saskatchewan, Canada, and after her father's death in 1914, they returned to Roselle. On Aug. 10, 1920, she and Frank Lammers were married at Holy Angels Church in Roselle by Father Gehling. Mrs. Lammers was a housewife and was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, Legion of Mary and Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

Survivors include six sons, Ed Lammers of St. Louis, Mo., Raymond Lammers of Las Vegas, Nev., Robert Lammers of Burlington, Iowa, Louis Lammers of Fremont, Calif., and Arnold Lammers and Gerald Lammers both of Omaha, Neb.; five daughters, Mary Rose Hansen of Algona, Iowa, Doris Ratchford of Boone, Iowa, Rita Boyer of Omaha, Neb., Charlotte Wurzer of Carroll, and Darlene Duhon of Omaha, Neb.; 41 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lammers was preceded in death by her parents: her husband, Frank, in 1969; one son, Paul Lammers; one daughter, Helen Baumhover; seven brothers; and two sisters.
