Louisiana pioneer descendant of Acadian exile family Joseph and Marie Pelagie Doiron LaLande.The LaLande family arrived in New Orleans,Louisiana on the Spanish ship "Le Beaumont" in 1785 from Nantes,France along with (6) other ships of exiled Acadians from France.US Civil War Confederate Army Private.Fought with the Yellow Jacket 10th Battalion and the 18th La. Consolidated Infantry.See Valsin Antoine Fournet grave.
