Jess McCrary of Gholson, died at 12:01 a.m. Saturday at his home. He was 64 years old and was the uncle of Mrs. Charlie Bentley of Valley Mills.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in a Waco Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. M.L. Rhodes offciated and burial was in China Spring Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Joann McCrary of Wortham Bend; two sons, Bobby Gene McCrary and Lyndon Holmes McCrary, both of Gholson; two sisters, Leora Baker of Valley Mills and Ada Robertson of Rock Creek; one brother, A.H. McCrary of Waco; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were C.S. Baker, E.W. Baker, L.D. Sanders, Clarence Sims, M.T. Rierson and C.O. Dockray.
