Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of China Spring, the Rev. Charles Wilson and the Rev. Paul G. Smith officiating. Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.
Mrs. Talbert was born May 16, 1888, in Gibson County, Tenn. She was the oldest daughter of Kendrick Oscar Pierce and Frances Eudora Pierce. Her family moved to McLennan County in 1901. She was married to Richard Lumpkin Talbert in 1908. He died in 1954.
Mrs. Talbert lived most of her life in China Spring, but she lived in Waco 10 years. She had been a member of First Baptist Church of China Spring since its founding.
Survivors include a son, Milton L. Talbert of China Spring; two sisters, Mrs. Will Copeland of Waco and Mrs. Myrtee Kreuger of Niles, Michigan; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
